Our Programs

As Jews we have a responsibility to improve our world. Inspired by the Jewish commitment to social justice and tikkun olam, Stand Up exists to channel the collective willpower, expertise and compassion of the Australian Jewish community to grasp and fulfil this responsibility. In pursuit of justice, Stand Up has a long and proud history of working in partnership with refugee and First Nations communities.

Our Refugee Partnerships Programs work in partnership with refugee and migrant communities to tackle systemic challenges migrant communities encounter such as racism and discrimination.

Our First Nations partnerships programs have built long term relationships with the communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla, primarily through youth engagement. Programs include school holiday activities and leadership workshops for youth and young adults. Programs are developed in collaboration with the elders of our partner communities.
