Empowering Jewish Youth Through Social Justice Education
At Stand Up, we believe that education and action are intrinsically linked. Guided by Jewish values such as Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Tzedakah (justice), and Chessed (kindness), our programs inspire young Jewish Australians to become proactive changemakers in their communities.
From B'nei Mitzvah-aged children to young adults, our programs create a pathway for growth, understanding, and impact.
Programs for Jewish Schools and Organisations
We offer unique, interactive sessions which cover a range of topics, including:
- Social justice challenges
- Poverty and wealth inequality
- Refugee and asylum seeker experiences
- Climate change
- First Nations reconciliation
- Allyship and responsibility
- Taking action
Each session is tailored to be age-appropriate and can be adjusted in length and content to suit different groups. Our facilitators are passionate with experience in informal education, ensuring that each session is delivered in an engaging and inclusive environment.
Many programs feature guest speakers from First Nations, refugee, and other communities who share their lived experiences. These authentic voices deepen students' understanding and create meaningful connections to real-world issues.
