At Stand Up, we are committed to helping young people understand social justice while inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to the Jewish and wider community.
Our Step Up education program empowers B'nei Mitzvah-aged students to step into Jewish adulthood by exploring their responsibilities through an innovative social justice experience. Throughout the sessions, participants will explore today’s biggest social justice issues through a Jewish lens.

Step Up provides a dynamic and engaging experience. Each session has a specific focus that ties back to Jewish values, covering topics such as:
The program will:
- Develop leadership skills to step into Jewish adulthood with purpose
- Deepen their understanding of social justice issues and personal responsibility
- Learn about allyship, reconciliation, and tackling inequality
By fostering awareness and leadership, Step Up helps young Jewish Australians recognise their role in creating positive change in the world.
