The Young Adults Leadership Retreat is the third program Stand Up runs as part of our unique relationship with our friends and partners in community.
The program is for young adults from the communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla, providing an opportunity to partake in team building activities, work on goal setting, discuss and plan for their future plans and training/study/employment goals.
The Leadership Retreat has developed from the long-term relationship between Stand Up and the communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla. The program focuses on developing confidence and leadership skills for senior school students and recent graduates. The program builds a peer support network between the youth and Stand Up mentors, who are experienced and familiar with the community after attending multiple programs.
