We are excited to present an enlightening film that embodies the spirit of resilience, compassion, and the power of community.
"Rosemary's Way" tells the inspiring story of Rosemary Kariuki, a charismatic Kenyan woman and community leader who has dedicated her life to helping newly arrived refugees settle in Australia. Rosemary was awarded the Australian of the year - Local Hero Award for her work advocating for migrant and refugee women. Her work stems from her own experiences after fleeing Kenya in 1999.
In addition to the screening, we are thrilled to announce that there will be a live Q&A session with Rosemary herself!
You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, hear firsthand experiences, and gain deeper insights into Rosemary's work and the challenges faced by refugees.
