Stand Up’s Parent-Child Retreat is a two-night, nature-based experience for children approaching their B’nei Mitzvah (Year 6 & 7 in 2026) and their parent or carer, offering guided activities that deepen parent–child connection, explore core Jewish values and social justice, and support children as they step confidently into their teenage years.
Set in Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, in a beautiful natural environment, the retreat creates space for reflection, bonding, hiking and appreciation of the outdoors, while also empowering parents to reflect on their role and how best to support their child’s growth during this meaningful life stage.
Retreat Dates
Starts: 5.00 pm Friday 23 October 2026
Ends: 5.00 pm Sunday 25 October 2026
The program includes additional supportive workshops to bring together the learning and bonding between parent and child in a dynamic and meaningful way.
Pre-Retreat workshop (two weeks prior) - dates and times TBA

Payment & Registration
Early Bird Price: $900 per parent and child until Thursday 16 July.
Full Price: $1,050 per parent and child.
To secure your places, you will need to make a $350 deposit and complete registration information.
The balance of $700 ($550 for early bird) will be due by Monday 7 September.

Cancellation Policy
Notice given before 1 September 2026: Full refund
Notice given between 2 September and 30 September 2026: 50% refund
Notice given after 30 September 2026: No refund, subject to extenuating circumstances.
