Loren Finger

Loren is a mission-driven leader whose career has been defined by a consistent thread: a deep commitment to giving back, strengthening the Jewish community, and making the world a better place.

Beginning her career as a corporate lawyer at MinterEllison and then as in-house Legal Counsel at Brookfield Properties, Loren has always believed in helping others, volunteering as a paralegal at AboriginalLegal Services, serving with the Communal Security Group, and sitting as an Observer on both the Moriah Foundation and the Australian Jewish Fertility Network (AJFN) Boards.

Loren ultimately followed that calling into the nonprofit sector, joining AJFN as Development Manager and ultimately serving as CEO. At AJFN, she led fundraising, strategy and operations, and helped grow the organisation's revenue and reach.

Loren now runs EmpowerHER Careers, a career development coaching business, bringing expertise in executive coaching, marketing and relationship-building to her work with individuals and organisations alike.

She joins the Stand Up board driven by a deep passion and desire to help nonprofits grow sustainably, because with the right strategy, resources and people behind them, organisations like Stand Up can create extraordinary, lasting impact for the people and communities they serve.
