ABOUT THE RETREAT

Stand Up’s Father-Son Retreat is a two-night, nature-based experience designed for boys around B’nei Mitzvah age (Year 6 & 7 2026) and their fathers or carers. 

Deepened Parent-Child Connections
Guided activities designed to build a deeper connection between parent and child and to mark the B’nei Mitzvah journey in a meaningful way.

Developing an Understanding Jewish Values Social Justice
Learning how core Jewish teachings inspire us to become compassionate upstanders by reflecting on Jewish values and social justice principles.

Immersion in Nature
A beautiful environment to make space for reflection,  bonding, hiking and appreciation for the natural world.

Strengthening of identity
A supportive experience helping young people step into their teenage years with confidence and a deeper connection to family and tradition. 

Empowering Parents
A supportive environment to reflect on the role of parents and how to show up for your son in a way that supports his development and growth.
