THE MOMENT WE'RE IN

The world we knew is changing fast. Communities are fracturing and mistrust is rising. Fear and isolation are pulling us to extremes. Polarisation and segregation often feel like they are holding Australian democracy hostage.

And many Jewish Australians - particularly young people - are navigating something specific: a deep commitment to justice, and an equally deep commitment to their Jewish identity, in a climate where it can feel impossible to hold these positions together. They are looking for a home for both.

Stand Up is that home.

Values like community, reflection, and care for one another were not just discussed; they were lived and felt in every interaction.

What Stand Up Does

Stand Up activates Jewish leaders and builds genuine allyship between communities.

Through rigorous leadership programs and long-term partnerships with diverse communities, we are strengthening social cohesion and creating real pathways from values to action.

THE IMPACT

235 Jewish leaders have come through our programs - gaining the skills, confidence and networks to lead in their communities and beyond.

We have extended our 21 years of partnership with First Nations communities - relationships that have deepened through Derech Eretz, Freedom Rides and other partnership programs.

15 cross-community programs have brought together Jewish, First Nations, refugee and migrant communities across Australia.

These relationships are not a footnote. They are the foundation.
