Come Together
Come Together is our brand new truth-telling conversations program where we are bringing the voices, stories, emotions and histories of First Nations people into Jewish homes and organisations. Through this program we hope to build the capacity of our community to act as allies for First Nations peoples.
Come Together sessions are co-delivered by Jewish volunteers and First Nations speakers. Each session includes personal testimony from our speakers, videos, activities, discussions and reflections.
We're very excited to be partnering with Children's Ground to develop and deliver this program. Children’s Ground is an organisation led by Aboriginal communities that are creating new futures for Children filled with promise, hope and empowerment. They are creating a world where First Nations children can have agency over their social, cultural, political and economic future, be free from trauma and suffering, enjoy equity and safety, and grow into adulthood feeling happy and able to enjoy their identity, health and wellbeing.
