Stand Up and Plus61J presented our inaugural Social Justice Summit – what a success

Thanks to all the participants, guest speakers and volunteers who helped to make our inaugural Social Justice Summit such a success

The Opening Dinner and Summit Day were jam packed with thought-provoking addresses and challenging discussions. We hope everyone who attended left feeling inspired to create a better society, and connected to a growing community of Jewish social justice changemakers, leaders and thinkers.

In case you missed it, the Summit ended with a fun and energetic Pitch4Purpose event. Congratulations to the three Sudanese young women who presented the winning pitch. They are all graduates from Stand Up’s iCan program for Sudanese secondary students, who are working towards addressing identity issues, mental health support and leadership development for young Sudanese people in Melbourne.

Thanks to our Summit partners Plus61J, and to all the guest speakers who generously gave their time to make this event such a success.
