Innovative leadership training for Aboriginal teens in Toomelah and Boggabilla with a focus on personal development and career pathways.

A leadership and personal development camp for young leaders from the Aboriginal communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla.

To provide Aboriginal teens from school years 9 to 12 from Toomelah and Boggabilla with the resources and motivation to pursue further education and employment pathways, by introducing them to positive role models and building their confidence levels over a four day camp.

Camp Connections developed from the long-term relationship between Stand Up and Toomelah and Boggabilla. The program focuses on developing confidence and leadership skills for senior school students. Camp Connections aims to build a peer support network between the youth and Stand Up mentors.

What: 4-5 day camp, running activities, cooking, playing, hiking, swimming, teaching, leading, mentoring
Where: Toomelah and Boggabilla, NSW
When: April and October school holidays
